The Beaver Hydraulic Roofbolter is a hand-held, portable hydraulic roofbolter, manufactured by Royal Hydraulic Service in the United States. The Beaver can be powered by the PTO from either mobile hydraulic equipment, LHD vehicles, or by longwall systems using a pressure reducer. The Beaver can be used for backkbolting, production bolting, or for bolting on longwall operations. The Beaver is capable of drilling in strata 10,000psi+/-, provided suitable drill steels, bits, and a reliable hydraulic power source are available.

 The Beaver’s modular construction allows for ease of repair giving the advantage of minimal down-time.
